Default Good eats

So who's got some really good low calorie ideas? I've munched some celery this afternoon and it's a negative calorie food!! Meaning you burn more eating and digesting it than you get from it. I hope I'm not misinformed on this. I've just learned also that artichokes have mega protein in them and that they are only about 60 cal!! Course I like to dip the leaves in butter so there's that to add....

What else?

Thumbs up Nummy lunch

Just went to Henry's and got some sliced deli Havarti cheese, sliced herb & garlic turkey breast - rolled them up and dipped it in some chipotle lime dip. NUMMY! Most days I can't eat much so when I do - I try to make it something REALLY good.

As for other lo-cal goodies - cantaloupe is super good and when I just want something sweet - Diet Snapple flavored iced-tea. Man - that stuff rocks!

Your right about the celery thing Botchy, I started a thread about it here somewhere.... also apples. One small apple has 1/2 days worth of fiber which will assist with regulating insulin levels=less cravings and steady blood sugar and its full of antioxidants!

Steam the srtichokes with EVOO and garlic you will not miss the butter! Fennel is a good negative calorie food and yummy. Baby carrots, asparagus.
