Default Kashi GoLean rocks!

Someone suggested this cereal on Jenny's thread asking for ideas, so I bought some in the health section of my local grocery. I have to use Lactaid, 'cause I'm lactose intolerant, but oh-my-goodness, this stuff just rocks. One Splenda packet for a little sweetness, and it's like really eating breakfast again! 13 grams of crunchy soy protein in a cup, though I can't quite eat that much, plus 4 grams of protein in the half cup of milk, and 10 grams of fiber, too! No carb coma, and Matilda (my pouch) is lovin' it...

You know I was looking at some at Trader Joes yesterday and I was concerned with the sugar content in it. It's not too much? I'd love to be able to get 21g of protein in at breakfast (my milk says 9g per serving).

I will have to pick some of that up. I love cereal but like you I am now lactose intolerant.

Default I was worried about the sugar, too

Had read somewhere (Bridget, I think) that she could handle up to 15 grams of sugar. Been wary of sugar since my first and only bout with dumping syndrome, so I was a little worried myself. But I have had no reaction to the Kashi GoLean, and it shows 6 grams on the box. Some things are worth risking it for, and I MISSED eating breakfast.
