Default An apple a day....

For a little over a week I have been eating an apple every morning. Y'all should look up the health benefits to eating them One small apple has a 1/2 days worth of fiber which keeps your insulin steady and you dont have "cravings", they are also loaded with antioxidants.

Since doing this I have been able to skip my 2nd morning " mini-meal" at 10:30 ( Cool beans) I have no hunger in the morning at all. Since having an apple every morning, and eating celery I have lost another 5 pounds in 2 weeks (yipee).

Im not boasting, just sharing that the small changes can make HUGE differences. I hope y'all join me in my apple and celery crusade!

He he Marty

Its amazing, it really is. Like I had the apple and some tea this morning, oh yeah and a cup of joe. I had yogurt but didnt eat any of it-didnt have the room or the desire. Didnt have my morning snack, oh wait i had about 10 DOTS candies then I had lunch, leftover BLACK EYED PEAS yummy! So good!

Im gonna be good until dinner, which will be more peas or Salad and baked chicken... I'll probally switch it up and have the chicken.

Marty- Happy New Year darlin'!

Happy New Year Bunny! I might try the apple and/or celery thing for afternoon or evening. I use the am to get a protein bar in, then wait my hour and drink scads of something warm........otherwise I get all off kilter with the fluids and protein and never quite seem to catch up! I do have munching issues in the evening a lot though.

Are apples okay for me, 8 months post op, with still about 70 ish pounds to go? I haven't had an apple since before surgery, and it sure sounds good!

Mmmmm, apples are good. I'm 7 months out and eat them all the time. They are so filling and satisfying and crunchy and juicy and sweet.

Kelly said she eats an apple on the way to work in the mornings.

130 lbs down!
Hugs, Annette

Hey I have been naughty myself by not calling YOU! C'mon Jen lets try to have an apple every morning. They taste so good cold from the fridge... yummy! I wont hurt you, just be at my house on Wednesday- the kids too!

8 months out apples are okay, after 3 months out your a-okay to eat anything.

'Nette I eat an apple every day in the car on the way to work, and its the first thing I eat in the morning on the weekends. Apples are where its at peeps!
