It's strange how our tastes change post WLS. I used to be a real wimp about spicey stuff, now I can't get it hot enough. I order kung pao shrimp and have to tell them to make it extra hot.

MMMmm Casey I love spicy stuff now. The hotter the better. Mainly when I baked some chicken. After surgery I have to be careful with eggs because they don't sit well with me like they use to. Do you tolerate them well everytime you eat them?

I love to eat spicy stuff, but always did prior to wls. I eat Jalapenos whole and freak out my family.

I love hot and spicy food now, and didn't before surgery. My friend thinks it's because now I taste my food instead of inhale the high fat, burgers and fries I used to eat. Go figure, Suzy

You all got me hungry for Taco Bell hot sauce, so I ate garbonzo beans with Taco bell sauce on them...not a bad protein choice and I was loving it.

I'm big on spicy since wls and salt. The doc says the salt thing is to keep my blood pressure up. I drown my food in it. I love the Emeril green Kick It Up sauce and also Tabasco makes a green one that I like. I like extreme tastes now. Very hot, very salty, very sweet. I put a ton of Splenda in my tea and before wls I never even liked sweetened tea. Weird!
