Default Any ideas for spicing up cottage cheese?

Hi,

I'm trying to eat more cottage cheese but I find it soooo dull.... I'm looking for ideas to help make it more enjoyable -- especially since I want to be able to substitute it for protein drinks.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

I eat it with tomatoes and tons of salt and pepper. Occasionally, i'll add a little green pepper to it too. A lot of folks add fruit, but I have never been big on that. Emeril's green Kick It Up sauce is good on it too.

Default mmmmm Cottage cheese

Before surgery I would have cottage cheese with avocado mixed in and a little salt. I would also have cottage cheese with granola and a little bit of honey mixed in. I am not sure how that would go over now though. But how about fresh peaches or pears? or pile it on a saltine or ritz cracker?

Just a couple of thoughts.

Hope

I think I saw before someone who put sugar-free jam and splenda in it, wait that might have been in ricotta. I forget now.
I have put s/f applesauce in mine, although I usually have had it with just pepper on it.

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

I have heard some people put sugar free jello (package of the mixture without water) in it and they swear it's delicious!

Talking

Peaches and Cottage cheese are good also Avocado slices and salt and pepper are pretty tastey with it as well, Salsa and Cottage Cheese too is good. Hell I eat it straight out of the container with tortilla chips and sometimes just alone.

Ohh I hadnt thought about it with avocado. A nice sugar free preserves would be good and the pepper sounds good.

i had a lady at my dr's office tell me that she makes really crispy toast then she piles cottage cheese on top, adds some cinnamon and some sugar sub (which ever you like) and put it in the oven. she said it tastes just like a cheese danish.
