Default Yogurt Post-op

Alrighty...

So I'm onto yogurt and what-not. But this plain yogurt is killing me.

What's a good yogurt for someone just over 10 days post-op?

TIA (Thanks in advance)

I think the brand was Dannon Low carb yogurt. It comes in little red containers and has very little sugar and a lot of protein in it. I liked the Vanilla. I also ate the Carb Countdown yogurt...blueberry and strawberry.

I found the low carb stuff nasty...but 1/2 a carton of light yogurt was okay for me. Even now, I just have 1/2 of a carton of the light version.

I had yogurt today for the first time. I was told I could have anything that was low fat or non fat. I think the low carb stuff is nasty (that is just what I think). I know it has carbs and sugars but I didn't dump on it. I had Yoplait peaches and cream. I mixed my vitamins with it. That's seems the only way I can get it down.

Hi,

I was able to eat the light Yoplait (blue label) after one week post-op. It was a favorite treat.

How funny that some things that just scream "dump!" to me aren't the things that would lead me to dump.

Weirdness...

I went with the bryers lite, ate only a half of serving at a time. 55 cals/.75g of fat/8g of carbs and 4g of protien. the strawberry cheesecake, cherry vanilla, and regular strawberry are Money. The downside.......I am so burnt on yogurt an cannot eat it anymore. It was a staple of mine the first 2-3 months. Good luck!

Default Dannon Lite and Fit ?

I have been eating that and adding the whey protein that has no taste. I get the different flavors and they satisfy me.
