Default Coffee Talk

Lots of people on this Forum LOVE their coffee.....me included.

So, I asked the nutritionist lady at my pre-op class what it is about coffee that they're worried about. She said the caffeine can hurt your new little stomach. So I asked, what about decaf? Oh! That should be ok!

Oh for heaven's sake!!! Why don't they just say that????

Though, I know a huge benefit for most people is the caffeine!! I just love the taste w/milk or cream, or whatever. But, a Decaf Caribou Skinny 'Bou with sugar free carmel and skim milk.....mmmmmmmm!!!!!

Laura,
So these are good? I have been wanting to try them but I don't want to buy a lot at once. Where do you get them?

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

Caffiene in moderation isn't going to hurt your stomach. But, if you do it in excess or combine it with frequent alcohol use or aspirin/motrin, then you can get a bleeding ulcer.

I'm not much of a regular coffee drinker, but I can never get enough lattes or mochas from Starbucks, and don't even get me started on Frappuccinos! I guess that all has to end since I'll need to watch my sugar input. Oh well...

Carmel Frappacinnos..... Starbucks gift to me! At least 4 a week. Between those and slurpees! Slurpees are like my medicine. And at least those come in diet!
