Thumbs up Magic Bullet

Who here has a magic bullet machine thingy that is like a blender without the hastle?? I would really like to get some information as to how you like it and if it is worth the investment? Does anyone have a nice story to share about it? We're really wanting one but don't want to spend the money if we won't truly use it ya know? I am thinking it would be great for mixing smoothies with protien mix in it or maybe sometimes adult tasty beverages?? LOL

I just think it would be a good investment if we'll actually use it. We do have a food saver, and if anyone has questions about buying one I simply say DO IT if you can. We got a nice one as a wedding gift, though I already had one so I gave mine to my Dad. We use it nearly every day. With the fact that we don't eat much, it really does come in handy.

Also they sell those microwave cover things pretty much everywhere like Target and we got one at Sears and it is just a plastic thing that goes over a plate or whatnot. It protects your microwave against splatters and such, but I noticed that it heats food more evenly too when you use it and it works great. The price is about $1.99 so it is a really good investment I think. It is kind of dome shaped and does fit on plates as well like I said.

I bought the Magic Bullet the other day and used it for the first time today. I LOVED IT!! I got it at the navy base for $50. I love to make smoothies and such, but our big blender was too much for just one serving. Plus it broke the other day. So I made a strawberry / mango protien drink and it was great! Didn't taste yucky at all. I can't wait to use it more often. Oh and clean up was a breeze!

Thumbs up oooh Thanks!!

That is just what I wanted to hear. Our blender is on the fritz too. We got a great smoothie maker from Katy and her husband for our wedding and love it, but I would like something for a quick lil drink once in a while. Also our little cuisinart (sp?) mini chopper is kinda old and I am thinking I can use that too to make chicken salad or tuna salad and stuff like that.

I appreciate your input and will probably be posting after I get one saying just how much I love mine too.. lol

I just bought one too.. But I haven't used it yet. I got mine on ebay brand new.. with shipping it was $54. It also comes with the extra juicer and blender. Then one at walmart was $60 and it was only a 17 piece, mine was a 21 piece(but I don't remember what the other extras are)

I've been using mine for about 1 week now I love it to make my shakes in the morning. I started by putting everything in and processing, now I do the ice and (frozen) bananas first and then put in the milk and portien powder.
I also made salsa the other day, it was a little too pureed, but tasted great. I lkie mine more chuncky so I guess I will have to proctice
My daughter bought mine at the Exchange for 50.00.

so funny that you posted this yesterday. I just bought one via buythebullet.com or something like that. Yesterday and maybe today if you buy one set you get one free. So I bought one to split with my mom and then we will split the cost.

Kina maybe you can find some one who wants to buy one and split it cost with you.

Buy the way I have not gotten mine yet but I will let you know how I like it when it comes. I did remember reading posts about here on the forum. I bought it because I remember rave reveues.

I may have spoke too soon. I used mine once and now it won't work. I emailed the company to see what I should do, so now I'm waiting.

How does it differ from a regular blender?

It's smaller and you make 1 shake at a time. The 'jar' is actually a cup so you fill the cup with ingrediants and put the blade on and turn it upside down. after blending you turn it back over and it's ready to drink!
