Default Magic Bullet

I don't know if it's okay to talk about specific brands on these boards, but I was thinking about buying one for smoothies and who knows what else. But I've been reading mixed reviews, so I thought I would ask my friends on the board.

Do any of you have the Magic Bullet? If so, what are the pros/cons?

I just used a regular blender. One more gadget in the house was something I didn't need! lol

But early out, I had a problem with the air that blenders generate in shakes and smoothies. It really hurt my pouch.

i have noticed that lots of people on here use them. what are the differences between that and a blender? do i need to get a magic bullet to use instead of my blender?

I have both a blender and a bullet. My bullet wins EVERY single time.. smaller, more compact, I can just leave it on my <very limited> counter all the time, it's just easier for me to use.

One thing though, they <both blenders & the bullet> do tend to make a lot of air so you need to let things settle a bit before drinking.

I have a magic bullet and I love it, however I just bought a Ninja at Sam's and that thing is kick butt, I love it so much Im thinking of getting another one, because the price was so good.

It's OK to talk about specific brands.

I don't have one because I figured I don't need one more thing on my kitchen counter, and because I'm cheap. I think I spent about $12 on my blender at Walmart.

But I hear the Magic Bullet would chop stuff up better. Like ice, or frozen fruit. My blender does that sort of. But there are always a couple big chunks left in there, no matter how much I blend it.

Thanks, guys! I appreciate the feedback. I think I'm going to look into the Ninja too. I had never heard of that before today.

Delane, can you tell me if the Ninja can do personal sized smoothies? Online it just says something about a 48 ounce container. Thanks!

I also found the Tribest Personal Blender, which some are saying is even better than the Magic Bullet. It has a 200-watt motor. Is that more than the Magic Bullet? I can't seem to find anything that says how much wattage the Magic Bullet has. Thanks again all!

I just love my Bullet and if it broke down I'd run right out and get another. It is so fast, blends my shakes well in the exact size I want, easy to clean, has a juicer, drink mugs and 2 sizes of containers. Great value for the price I paid - it is noisy, but so is a blender. I don't think you would regret getting one.
