I either just regular ketchup or make my own with tomato paste, some white vinegar a little splenda and some garlic powder. Unless you are drinking ketchup there is not enough sugar in it imo for it to matter.
But then again I am not the queen of fat free stuff either. The most I do of anything is reduced fat sour cream and dressings. I use full fat cheese. I use fat free half and half. Olive oil mayonaise.
It really just comes down to the quantity of the food you are going to be eating. To get any flavor out of fat free cheese I would have to eat like 4 oz of it. With the real thing 1 oz does me just fine. So I just think it's about balance.

I use Heinz Reduced Sugar Ketchup. I get it at Walmart:
per tablespoon
5 calories
zero fat
zero cholesterol
170mg sodium
1g carbs
...1g sugars
zero protein
If you have a problem, Netrition has it: Heinz Reduced Sugar Tomato Ketchup
For the same quantity, regular Heinz Ketchup has 15 calories, 4g carbs, and 4g sugars.

I just use regular ketchup, too. But I don't eat it much, and when I do, I don't eat much of it. I don't think I eat enough of it for the sugar in it to matter. I'd say if you are going to use a lot of it, you might want to get one with low sugar.
Stacie, you can mix mayo with tuna. You might want to try low fat mayo. But really, I think it depends on how much you are using, like Air Force Wife said. Especially when you are eary post-op, if you want tuna with mayo, you're going to be eating such a small amount that the fat in regular mayo shouldn't really hurt you.

I use an organic ketchup that happens to be really low in sugar and is actually sweetened with agave syrup. But hubby is diabetic so we always look for stuff like that.. Mt. Olive sells pickles and relishes made with splenda as well, though I don't eat either of those, if someone does, maybe that'd be an option for them as well.
As for the mayo, I also don't eat tuna, but I've read here that some people just use their Fage (or other greek yogurt) to moisten their tuna with (who was the poster that cringed at the word moisten? lol... I think of that every time I use it ) lol

When I need ketchup I use regular old Heinz. But since I no longer consume mass quantities of Mickey D's fries I rarely have a need for ketchup.

Yep, I'm with her, I don't really eat all that much ketchup anymore, but when I do, moderation. : )
That's the same thing with real mayo. : )
Moderation is key.

I've never really been a catchup kinda gal.
As for the tuna thing. Since surgery I am addicted to mixing a lil tuna in my cottage cheese with a sprinkle of Anyway protein, and peper. SUPER YUMMY. If I want a lil change I toss in some chopped tomato, asparagus (sp?), and/or olives.
