Crunchy Chick Peas
I don't know if this has been posted before but I love them.
2 cans of Chick Peas drained
1-2 tbsp of evoo
mix well then spread out on a baking sheet and season with any kind of seasoning you prefer and bake @ 450 for about an hour until they are real crunchy. High in fiber and protein and satisfy your salt and crunch addiction.

I don't think I have ever seen them posted on here but this is one of my favorite things to eat! I love these. Some chili powder, cumin a little garlic powder, red pepper flake and some sea salt and these are to die for. I shake em up in a zip lock bag to make sure they evenly coated.
Thanks for posting it!

Do you season them before or after you bake them?

I add spices before cooking Sherry.
Salt, chili powder (I like Ancho chili), garlic and onion powder. Cayenne isn't bad either.
But they're pretty good just with Kosher or sea salt.

Yep before. Lately I have just been spraying them with the Olive Oil Pam and then mixing the spices in a ziplock bag to coat them before tossing them on a sheet pan to bake them.

Mmmm, sounds good! I bought a couple of cans of chickpeas last year when I saw a similar recipe to this...but I forgot about it, and never made them.
I've been craving crunchy stuff...hopefully this will fix that craving.

Mine burnt after 30 min. I have no idea what I did wrong.
Olive oil butter and seasonings mixed in a baggie.
Chickpeas on the tray. The ones on the outside burnt and the ones on the inside of the tray weren't done.
