Default drink mix with caffeine

I tried the Wal Mart (Great Value) Vitamin Enhanced Wild Strawberry Drink Mix. Tasted pretty good, but...I got soo hyper after awhile. I couldn't figure out why I was so restless, I had wayy too much energy, lol. Anyway after I drank it I noticed the ingredients said Caffeine . I have steered clear of any kind of caffeine. I can't find exactly how much of it is in one serving. I'm thinking quite a bit for the burst of energy it gave me. Anyway, curious if anyone knows how much. I'm all for staying away from anything that'll cause ulcers. Thinking I'll just give the rest away. Any thoughts?

For me, I stay away because I just don't want to risk getting ulcers. It's not that I am perfect but I try to weigh the pros/cons and risks/benefits before I do something and there just isn't anything in the pro/benefit column for me to have it.

Others are more willing to risk the ulcers if it means not having to give up that particular drug. Only you can decide for yourself it is worth that risk.

Thanks Kel, great insights as always As I said I have steered clear from Caffeine and don't care to go there. Never been one for caffeine, so no biggie for me. I just couldn't figure out how much was in one serving. I googled it and couldn't find it. I've had dealt with ulcers at a young age and don't wish to go there again. It was painful.

theres more caffeine in a peice of chocolate than there is in those little tubes of drink mixes. Literally theres hardly any caffeine in those things. in a shot of expresso there is 75mcg's theres probably less than 10mcg's in them

Thanks Deb, btw, Congrats on the scale moving again!

Okay, so I found the stats on the Crystal Lite brand of this flavor, and it says 60 mg of caffeine. So...I will be passing on this flavor, darn it, lol. I actually liked the taste of this one. OH WELL...

Yeah, I was going to say 10 mg is probably not going to cause someone to be that hyped up. 60 on the other hand, particularly when your body is not used to it.

Good luck finding something you enjoy that doesn't make you hyper!
