Default Pure Protein High Protein Bars

I'm over 3 months post op and now eating Pure Protein High Protein bars to get my protein supplementation in.

What do you all think of these? There is a "disclaimer" that says may cause gastrointestenal discomfort (laxative effect) because of the sugar alcohols.

Wanted to get a running opinion on what you thought of these or if you've tried them. Thanks!

I was looking at all these bars over the weekend for emergency situations. But, I passed on all of them because of the high sugar, cals, and carbs. Even the Atkins one were wicked high. Instead I bought a little travel bag of trail mix to toss in my glove box and purse.

I don't think the stats look that bad. 190 calories, 17 carbs. A bit more carbs than a protein shake, but doesn't Chike has something like 11 carbs? It's a carby shake. Of course, some shakes have no carbs, I think. Doesn't Syntrax Nectar have no carbs? Anyway, I don't think it looks that bad.

These are my favorite protein bars. No sugar, and they never make me dump. Chew, chew, chew. These are dense.

I have been eating them here and there. I could never stand the shakes so this was an alternative for me. They are higher in carbs but it the big picture, I don't think it has made that big of a difference in my weightloss. I love them!
