Kel, Corrine, Beth?????
I remember you ladies talking about a pro something that you take and loved. I think one of you said that everyone should be taking these. Do you remember what they were and what they do? For the life of me I can not find the thread or the name of the things. I know I wrote it down on one of my 50000000000000 post its but, lord knows I can not find it now.
Thank you ladies

Probiotics. Studies have shown that people who take them post-op lose more weight, faster. That hasn't helped me there but they do help me not be pooping cement
They are the good bacteria our tummies need.
I take a brand called PB8 and I buy it at hannifords or a health food store.. I found it cheaper somewhere but for the life of me, I can't remember where.
 Hope that helps!

Just make sure you get one that has LOTS of active cultures.. the PB8 has 14 billion live active cultures.. some are less than a million.. might as well not bother.. okay?
Corrine has another brand that she likes as well.. don't recall the name, though..

I see that Kel beat me to the answer, Charlie. I've used Probiotics off and on. I was seeing if they would help my tummy issues that I've been dealing with for the past 6 months. It didn't seem to make any difference but I also had medical issues going on that were causing the tummy issues.
I do eat a lot of yogurt so I am getting some of the good bacteria from the yogurt. I stopped the probiotics capsule because I am taking so many darn pills right now that I just didn't want to face another big pill. I'm on 4 different ulcer meds four times a day and have needed to add in more iron, vit. D and zinc to keep my numbers up. All of this on top of my standard vitamins.
Anyway, yep...you were thinking about Probiotics.

I know this is silly but, "live active cultures" gives me visions of little buggies running around my tummy

Ok, another question....regarding D3.
I was looking at a whole rack of D3 at the "Vitamin Shoppe" and they seem to have the same numbers as the VitaLady but, a little better price and I can just go and grab them vs. having to remember to order them. Do you think they would be ok? I noticed they have liquid, pills, caps, chewies, gummies, powders to add to drinks or food.

we need the 'dry' form of D3.. make sure it is D3.. so I go with the capsules myself. Corrine may be able to expound on this a bit.. she's the vitamin queen

I would recommend the capsules. It has to be D3 and the dry form is absorbed the best. The powders would more than likely be okay too as long as it is D3.
