Default Applesauce Question

Dorky as it may seem I finally bought some applesause tonight

IT reads No sugar added

shows 11 grams of sugar
and 12 grams of carbs.

Is this possible to eat. IM almost 2 weeks out from the Gastric Sleeve!!

Thanks for reading me ramble on.

Cherie

Applesauce is on my approved foods list, but it also says to eat it in moderation. So I would say yes but I am basically at the same point you are at and I know there are more experienced people out there that will be able to shed more light on this.

Good Luck!

1st.. around here we call people who had surgery the same exact day as our 'podmates'... so you two have found your podmates

2nd. As long as applesauce is on your approved list, it should be okay- just take it easy on it.

And remember that protein is the most important to get into you and make sure you're getting enough into you.

Apple sauce was on my list too. I loved the stuff.

Most people have no issue with the natural sugars in fruits. And the upside is that NS added apple sauce can help for early out constipation issues.
