I'm so confused
In my teams plan it says that I can have ham at 4 weeks but, then right below that it states that I can not have pork. Last I knew ham and pork came from the same thing. Are they saying deli ham is ok but, something ham steaks is not? A ham, cheese, and mushroom omlet sounds wicked good right now but, I'm a skeered.

hmmmm...in very small pieces. perhaps the diff is that luch meat is sliced thinly versus ham steaks being larger sized.

I can't say what they mean, for sure, but deli ham was on my list for early out, whereas pork and ham as in ham steak was reserved for later. So my guess is they meant deli ham. It's just a guess though. I had email contact with my nut to ask those kinds of questions, do you have something like that?
Good luck, hunny

I just looked at Beth's meal plan to see if I could find an answer there and it says the same thing. Maybe they are saying that ham is ok but not pork chops? I guess just to be on the safe side I'll just stay away from the piggies all together.

Yeah I bet that's what they mean, like deli ham is okay but blocks of ham would hurt. Just be careful and chew very well.

my humble opinoin is that deli ham is thinner and not so fiberous such as the ham steak and is easier to digest. Just take in the deli ham is small portions and enjoy.

Try Turkey Ham, the thin kind of course. I buy the fat free or 97% fat free. It's almost all protein. On another note, I'm 7 mths out and any kind of ham still does not sit well with me. I hope you have better luck.
