I can only tell you what has worked for me. Increasing your protein, so another greek yogurt instead of the Yogplait. The only yogurt I eat ever is the greek yogurt. Everything else just does not have enough protein to make it worth it. I would cut the American Cheese out. I try not to eat anything processed. And make sure you are getting enough fluids in.

How much are you drinking and what are you drinking hun?

Here is my general rule. If it does not have at least 10g for every 100 calories, I usually don't eat it. Obviously this will not apply to things like salad dressing, mayo and cheeses. But for snacks and meals, I try to live by this. Beef jerky has become a favorite snack for me. I cannot eat a steak but for some reason I can handle beef jerky well. It's high in protein and low in fat and calories. Just be sure to chew the HELL out of it!! I got a peice stuck once and it was not fun.

Also I know you and I have talked about excersise, how is that going? I know it's hard to get motivated but even if all I do some walking in place in front of the tv with some leg kicks and swinging my arms, I try to do something, anything that involves moving my ass for the day.

Yes Susan you are probably right. I need to stop eating so much cheese...that is high in fat. That seems to be the thing that sits the best with me though. I will really try to cut it way down though.

Laurie, it doesn't sound that bad to me. I had a stall a few months ago, and increasing my protein helped. You might try that. How much are you drinking? Increasing your fluids might help, too.

Thanks so much for the info AirForceW1fe.

I am getting in my 64 oz. of water a day.

I just recently found the Chobani greek yogurts..which I really like. I was having a hard time with the protein drinks. So I think you are right I will try eating two of those a day rather than some of the cheese I have been eating. That is awfully high in fat.

As far as the exercise goes. I am still struggling with that. I do walk everyday with my hubby after dinner, but that is about it. I need to get motivated and do an exercise video everyday. I think about joining a wellness center that we have in town, but it is very expensive. It is $63 a month, plus there is an initiation fee. I do really love it there...they have a nice pool and that is the one exercise I really enjoy. I really like their water aerobic classes. My husband tells me to do it, but I am afraid it is too expensive right now...we have two sons in college. I know that I probably should just do it anyway. This is the best thing I can do for me.

Thanks Kelly. I probably do just worry too much. I don't seem to have much problems with eating. I think cheese might be part of my downfall. But it just taste so good. I will try and cut way down on that.

I too like you Kelly are struggling with getting motivated to do exercise. I hear that you like water aerobics too. I used to teach a class at the Y back in OH when we lived there. Boy do I miss that. By teaching a class my membership was free. We had such a great group of ladies back there too. We were all close friends by the time I had to move. Boy I really do miss it.

Sorry I guess I am rambling.

I eat a lot of cheese, too. Do you get the reduced fat kind? I usually do.

If you like water aerobics and you can afford to join the fitness center, then you should do it. I know it seems expensive, but it's really worth it.

Yeah I am with Kelly here. I can't do the fat free kind, it's like chewing rubber and has zero flavor. But the reduced fat is ok. I don't do reduced or fat free mayonaise, dressing or sour creme etc. I don't eat enough of them for it to matter.

Unless I read wrong, I didn't see any veggies up there either. I usually have cooked veggies (brocolli or peas mostly) with my lunch and dinner. My lunch and dinner is usually tilapia or chicken.
