Default Food Help - Moral Support

I'm coming to the end of the liquid diet phase and I honestly feel like I'm about to lose my mind. I've tried puddings, cottage cheese (although we were told we could have this I've read that's usually in the next stage), strained soups and broths...it's not helping. I've craving protein and I'm trying to take in as much as possible. Doing the thee shakes with extra protein, but I still crave refried beans, tuna and eggs.

Is there anything else I can do? I feel like I'm seriously starving, but I know that's got to be psychological. I'm hoping you guys can give me some ideas of what I can eat or just some moral support.

Thanks
Angel

Since you're allowed to have pudding and cottage cheese, I assume yogurt would also be OK? Have you tried Fage yogurt? It is very high in protein.

Are you allowed to do cream soups? You could have cream of chicken or something.

How long is this part of the diet and how many days do you have left of it?

Is Fage yogurt Greek Yogurt? I've tried it and I just didn't like it, but I have been eating Yoplait Lite. I also had some cream of mushroom soup today. It was okay. I was looking at the Cream of Chicken, but I'm not sure how much fat, sodium, is okay per serving.

I'm on it for two weeks and should be taken off on Thursday afternoon. I know, I'm so close to the end that I can see the light...I'm just having a hard time with that last few days.

try the 2% plain fage... mix in a couple packets of splenda and some sugar free preserves. makes it taste loads better and doesn't add that much sugar/calories to it.

edit: cream of chicken should be fine, but I'd mix it with water, not milk (assuming you're getting it out of a can)

Yeah, Fage is Greek yogurt. A lot of people add stuff to it, like little Splenda, or some sugar free jam, or some sugar free pudding mix, to make it taste better.

Cream of chicken sounds so good right now. It used to be one of my major comfort foods after a hard day of work. I'd eat a bowl with half a pack of crackers. See I never binged, just made bad food choices too much. That got me to 250. Chronic pain got me to 350. Didn't mean to hijack I'm just hungry lol!

Okay ideas hmmmm... Okay the only things I can think of that I think would be safe that you haven't mentioned is sf popsicles, diluted fruit juice, vegetable juice, cream of wheat, baby cereal, thin mashed potatoes.

Just a few more days! You can do it hon!

Completely understand. While I've always been bigger, it wasn't until PCOS and Chronic Pain that I got THIS big.

I assume that by cream of wheat, it's that only and not flavored oatmeal...I've never even looked at the nutrition facts....sad

mashed potatoes sounds wonderful, but I was thinking that was in the soft diet. Maybe that's just my doctor.

I think once I get to soft foods, I will be fine...tuna, eggs, mashed potatos, etc...it's just getting there. Of course, I'm sure I'll be whining at the end of it too.

Quick random question...looking through recepies and I see a lot for taco salads and Wendy's Chili. I'm sure taco salad is in full diet, but what about chili?
