Default Sandwich/Deli Meat & Cancer

So my sister is gonna be a lab tech and my mom is a nurse, so any time i talk to either of them i get told about what to not do or eat because it does this or that to you. The most recent is about how deli sliced type meats can cause cancer. I've seen a lot of people say they eat deli meat and cheese wraps, which i used to eat (another reason i've decided to eat vegetarian), but i read quite a few different things and thought about it, how do they make deli meat to slice... have you seen those bricks and rounds in the deli section, uh.. yah.. tahts not natural. So anyways.

I am NOT trying to start a riot, or have anyone hate me, but i thought i'd share, cuz i care.

You ever stop to think that cancer is God's way of telling us that he's not gonna let us live forever?

I mean, it would get a little weird if he turned us all into pillars of salt right?

Of course, but then if you think of it that way, maybe God put me here to tell people here, and one person will cut back or stop eating the stuff, and they wont have to suffer from cancer and can live a long happy life with their family.

Raw carrots don't bother me at all. I've actually never heard of them doing that to anyone but you. LOL

OMG.. early out.. (hmm maybe 6 or 7 weeks out??) I got a hankering for those little baby carrots.. and I was gnawing on them mindlessly.. I just wanted that crunch you know?

The WORST vomiting EVER. Like in non-stop for hours and hours of tiny little orange chunks. LMAO.. gross, but true.

As for deli meat.. I don't eat it much at all but hubby has some for lunches, but he buys them directly from the butcher and they're not the processed meat stuff but actual roast beef or turkey breast. I do enjoy that black forest ham on occasion though. lol

lol that's so weird. first time it happened, i was in class munchin on them for a snack. i was about 2 months post op. i felt really bad and excused myself and the sink was orange when i was done lol. now sometimes i'll accidentally get a raw piece of carrot in a bag of salad and it just kills my pouch. hehe .. good to hear that i can eat raw carrots again later
