Default Fage and Fiber

So now that Kelly has me hooked on Fage (Hi, my name is Nikki and I'm an addict) I am wondering if there is any reason I cannot eat it at every meal? Like 1/2 cup each meal along with another protein like turkey or chicken or whatever? It seems like the easiest thing to eat but I didn't want to overdo it.

Right now I am having the yogurt + kashi for breakfast, then plain yogurt plus deli meats and cheese or turkey sausage and cheese or chicken and cheese for lunches. I am considering having fage with my dinner (sometimes) as well....if there are no objections from the powers that be!

I try to eat a little fruit and vegetables, but haven't managed to get them in too much or I end up having only a few bites which leads me to my next question: can i get most of my fiber through supplements?

If so, what is the best source? Right now I am eating fiber one yogurt, but wanted to switch that to fage and add benefiber to the fage. I use two servings which gives me 9 grams of fiber (and 45 calories). Are there better, lower calorie fiber mixes anyone recommends? I also take fiber choice chewables (2-4 a day).

I am about 2 1/2 months out, so I'm not eating too much per meal which is why I can't always fit in veggies. 95% of my meal is protein and I rarely eat significant carbs (pasta or crackers, etc.) I try to make broccoli or green beans with dinner (about 1/4 cup), but that's not giving me the fiber I want/need.

So any advice would be great - thanks!!

NikkiJo, you're probably going to get some different opinions on this.

My opinion is this: you shouldn't eat ANY particular food too often. Your body gets used to processing the same thing over and over, and after awhile doesn't process it as efficiently....leading to stalls in your weight loss.

Like I said, that's just my opinion, based on different things I've read about how the body burns energy/food.

I had never heard this, so that is really good to know!! I usually eat the same lunch at work for say a week (like turkey deli meat every day for a week). Do you think I should break that up or if I change to turkey sausage the next week and then chicken the following it will be ok? Or are we talking weeks or months at a time? Thanks for the reply!
