Default Dehydrated (Dried) Peas???

I don't know if this has been discussed before but has anyone eaten Dried Peas. From what I've read, and from people I know who've eaten them, they are a great source of protein and great if you're having a craving for something crunchy. I know there are a lot of different peas and they differ in nutrition but I'd like to get your feedback.

Thanks!

I've not heard of "dried peas"...but I personally love the edamame nuts that look like peas. Do you BUY the peas dried or dry them yourself?

I LOVE edamame - but these are different. You can dry them yourself. I haven't looked into how. Sounds like too much trouble...LOL...and the dried ones sound great because they can come in cans and you can take them when you're on the run. It just seems awesome. Some beans (like black, white and wasabi) have more carbs and fat but not all of them and not the regular green ones.

They are, of course, expensive but it seems like a really good idea. I'm going to do a little bit more investigating. Try this link - this is where I've started. I hope you can open it.

Ahhh, kind of like the ones that come in the "Cup of Noodles"? A good deal if you find you LIKE them...but what do you do with the tons left, if by chance you don't like them.

Don't know anything about them and I cannot vouch for this guy at all, but thought I'd throw this link out there.. let me know if you try them, and if you like them.

Dried peas a high protein snack with fibre and BariCare protein supplement

Seems like a less $$ way to try them, anyway.
