Stringbeanz!!
This is a fantastic store! I was on Atkin's for about 2 months prior to my surgery, not necessarily to lose weight, but, to keep from gaining weight when my insulin was increased to 88 units at bedtime .. The doctor told me when my sugar numbers started going down, that my weight would start going up, and I just couldn't do that!!! SO, I started Atkin's and found Stringbeanz. Such a cool place, LOTS of things with low fat and low carbs, not just for Atkin's dieters. Check it out, you'll like it! You can also get a discount card if you're a "frequent flyer" They have LOTS of protein bars and shakes!
By the way, I was able to maintain my weight rather than gain, and I even lost 1 pound up until about 3 weeks prior to surgery, then all of a sudden a few pounds did start to come off, and I ended up losing 9 1/2 pounds before my surgery, only to gain 10 at the hospital! LOL Oh well, such is life huh? It's gone now though, *waving bye bye* hopefully not to be seen again~

Stringbeanz rukes!
I visited this store today and it is so cool! Itold the gal about our group of "losers" and she gave me a bunch of fliers with 10% discount coupons! So I will be sure to share those with those of you who are interested. They have everything there, water with protein, low sugar high protien frappucino-like drinks, high protein bread, every kind of Atkins breakfast, snack and granola bar you can think of... protein shakes with low sugar, they have one their that is 35g of protein and like 3 grams of sugar. The lady said they have the taste testing event quarterly, so I will keep ya guys posted if no one else does. Its a great store, a little pricey because it is a specialty store, but weel worth it. They have a preferred customer program also, you buy a $10 card and then you get additional savings off regular prices and you get great prices on the weekly specials! Sometimes the savings can be 30%-50% off. Its a great place, I recommend that you at least visit it... you would be amazed all the different high protein and sugar free items they carry.

Taste testing
I posted on here when they had their last taste testing weekend, but Karen was the only one to respond.
I get email from them weekly, telling of their specials.... It really is an awesome store!!!
I think I even told about the card that you can buy to get a discount on all your purchases, I really did put it in here several months ago! really I did...

Have ya been there yet?
Hey Sandi have you been there yet? It is totally cool. I remeber reading about the taste testing, but I cant remember why I couldnt go... were you able to go? How was it? Ididnt realize how close the store was... I stopped into the Slvation Army to try to find some thrifty jeans... didnt find em, but then I saw the store across the street! I bought these best tasting soy chips.... they are so good! Almost like eating flavored fried wontons...but good for ya! Loaded with protein... I just love that place!

Yes ma'am!!!! :)
Yes ma'am, John and I have been there several times!!! I've gotten protein bars, and SF syrups for our shaved ice machine, some sort of nuts that you put in the microwave like popcorn and they're heated up, it's a snack, but 100% protein, I've gotten low carb bread there, this was prior to surgery while I was on Atkins, and spent WAY too much money!!
I LOVE going there!!!!!
I'm glad you found it though, I KNOW you'll go again!!!
Sorry you didn't find your jeans though..
I have my trusty little 10% off card too
