I tried popcorn at about 6 months out and I'm ok with it. I found these wonderful mini bags of popcorn at albertsons. They are wonderful for the movies..LOL and they only have 100 calories in the whole bag and they are so good. I take one of those and a bottle of water to the movies with me every other week when we go. It ends up being a meal for me on that day so it's not a bad thing. I make sure I think of everything I'm eating as a meal and not a snack because I don't want to get back in the mind set that it is ok to always snack. I'm a year out and still love those mini bags to death.

I was eating popcorn 3 or 4 times a week. Air popped with butter flakes. I got sick off it a couple weeks ago (ate too fast) so I'm kinda off that kick now.

Default my doc says no no

My doctor said popcorn is a no no. They say the seeds can't digest and they can get stuck. I guess if you can eat around the seed you'd be safe.
Apparantly it doesn't hurt everyone but be careful.

Yes, I was also told to avoid popcorn for life since it doesn't digest. I'm also guessing that if you ate around the husk and took it slow it might be ok for some people.
