Default cornish game hens

i have a question about cornish game hens.... i really love these little birds and just purchased several to try.... the package does not contain any nutritional info. so my question is baking, grilling or any other way of cooking it healthy does anyone know the general nutritional info on these little birds. i have looked online and get different info lots of fat low in fat to start with seems to have 0g of carbs everywhere and very good in protein usually saw 26 to 47 depending on it being eaten half or whole....

so if anyone else knows more please let me know i am salivating with anticipation...

thank you

I generally bake mine - rubbed with a tiny bit of olive oil - seasoning and herbs + chopped lemon in the carcass.

Remove the skin after cooking:

Per whole bird: Calories in Chicken, Cornish Game Hens, Meat Only

and this from another site pretty much gives the same stats (1/2 bird):

No that is not a lot of calories ... you should be taking in about a 1000 calories a day

If you eat a quarter of the bird that is only about 75 calories.

Try this site - it's pretty helpful when you want the nutritional info: http://caloriecount.about.com/foods

And this is a pretty good one too: http://www.thedailyplate.com/
