Question Fat Free Half and Half

Has anyone out there tried the new (or at least new to me) fat free half and half?
I use it now in my coffee and was thinking it would be good after surgery but I was looking at the ingredients and saw that 2 tbsp. have 2gm sugar. I probably don't even use a whole tbsp. in my coffee but I do have several cups in the morning. It lists on the ingredients corn syrup solids second and sugar third and I have heard that a good rule of thumb to follow is to not have anything with sugar or it's derivatives in the first 3 to 4 ingredients.
Well any thoughts would be great! Thanks!

I've not tried the ff half and half. I may have to though. Our doctor says the same thing about sugar, should be the 5th or more ingredient. I figure the same as you, if I don't use too much of it, it should be fine.

I'm not sure but that is quite a bit of sugar. i would ask the nutrionist before I tried it post op. That is the bad thing about fat free and sugar free stuff. If it's fat free it tends to have a ton of sugar and if it's sugar free it tends to have a bunch of fat. I guess they gotta do something so it has a taste.

Everyone is different on what amount of sugar they can handle. 2 grms of sugar is not alot, unless you dump on that amount.

I personally can handle up to 13 grms.

Read labels and always try something new in the privacy of your own home first.
