Default Oh my Heavenly SPROUTS!

Can i just say i just came back from Sprouts grocery (a farmers market store) that sells lots of organic stuff and healthy foods. Well i bought fage and also they have isles and isles of nuts and granola and stuff..... so as i walked along i tasted stuff, read nutritional labels and bought banana chips, toasted coconut which only has 2 grams of sugar! wow and roasted peas with salt, and roasted peanuts with salt and cracked pepper and cherry vanilla granola and a few other stuff oh and sweet potatoe pancakes! So for lunch right now i ate 1/2 cup of fage (2%) mixed with 1 splenda, 1/3 cup of vanilla granola toped with toasted coconut! OMG heaven i'm in love. I cant believe how awesome these snacks are i even bought that breat that only has 4g of carbs per slice! wow i just had to share because i keep saying i want to eat healthier, my next trip i think i'll buy some flaxseed to go atop my mixture (i'm sure its healthy for you even if its not i can say i eat flax seed) LOL

Default You can have coconut???

Deb- can you have coconut? If so, I am way jealous. The one thing they told us we could never, ever eat again after surgery was coconut. I love the stuff, so I miss it dearly. Did they say anything to you about coconut? Have you had any problems with it? They didn't really go into great detail about why we couldn't have it. I just assumed it was because it comes out just like it goes in and could block our pouch.

I was told to never have popcorn again, and another thread states the enormous amount of people who do! sometimes I wonder about surgeons...

I so wish I had a green thumb! I should have taken some tips from my grandma during her gardening days. I am so jealous. I promised I would try out a small garden this year but I just never had the time.
