Hi--bad day yesterday--today is better so far.

Yesterday had 926 calories, 51 gr fat 57 carb and only 54 gr protein

didn't have my protein drink instead 1/3 of a protein pancake, 1 oz ham, 1/2 egg for breakfast

lunch was 1/2 chicken sandwich

2 snacks--one protein bar which was an ok choice and one quaker bar--not so great but not so bad either

dinner was 2 oz chicken, potato and bits of broccoli

today is better so far have 60 grams of protein thanks to my protein drink and snack which was really lunch--chicken and a little potatos

Do you use a heat stable protein? i thought most protein powders lose their effectiveness once heated? Which ones do you use?

I was on the road all day yesterday and had a struggle to eat well.

I had the fage & kashi cereal for breakfast as always.

Lunch was a western - but with only the bottom bread and not even all of one piece.. later I had some mixed raw veggies with 'dip' of low fat ranch dressing.

three baked lays chips- Geof was munching from a bag and I had three. I had to make a concerted effort to stop at the three, though.

We came home and I was feeling completely uninterested in eating I had 1 ounce of the chipotle cheese.

Around 8:30 or 9, I decided I had to eat *something* so I had my fage with kashi again.

Less than 1000 calories.

Today is not going much better, though it's early. I just do NOT feel like eating or even drinking.. I forced myself to eat breakfast.

Here's my info for today, Feb 19. I am 8 1/2 months out.

My choices were so-so today. I'm having gall bladder problems, and meat/fish seems to be making me hurt more. The carby stuff isn't bothering me at all, so I may have to go a little heavier on them until I get this sucker taken out. Or, I'll just survive on yogurt and protein drinks...whatever works.

Breakfast:
1 container Oikos Organic 0% Fat Greek Yogurt Vanilla

Lunch:
1.25 oz Jarlsberg Light Swiss Cheese
1/2 Arnold Select Sandwich Thins Multi-grain
2 T. Sabra Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Afternoon snack:
1 bag Orville Redenbacher's 100 Calorie Mini Bags

Dinner:
2 oz. Tilapia Fillets
1/4 cup Goya Yellow Rice

Evening snack:
Hot protein drink, consisting of water and:
2 scoops Optimum Nutrition Any Whey Protein Powder
1 T. Hershey's Cocoa Powder, Natural Unsweetened
2 T. DaVinci Hazelnut Syrup- Sugar Free
1 packet General Food International On The Go Hazelnut Cappuccino (sugar Free)

1 Edy's Fruit Bars: No Sugar Added

Totals:
798 calories
18g fat
33mg cholesterol
1,240 mg sodium
88g carbs
2g sugar
11g fiber
79g protein

No-cal, no-caffeine liquids: 44 oz so far, working on the rest of it.
Exercise: none
Vitamins: yes

Have you ever tried the Jimmy Dean turkey sausage links? They're freaking fantastic!

Nah, they're actually pretty good for you, and have lots of protein. One of my favorite breakfast is 3 of those, and a boiled egg. Yummy-licous!
