Omg!!! Protein--i Found The One Finally!!!
I have tried so many proteins and the closest I ever came to be able to choke it down was Syntrax or Jay Robb. But I still had to choke it down.
Well I have found it!!! SPIRU-TEIN!!!! The simply natural has few calories I just add splenda to sweeten. I mix it with 2% milk and it turns thick like pudding. I have tried the banana and the chocolate so far, and it is like cheating. I don't mind it at all and it satisfies my urge for something sweet. I also can't do bananas anymore so this helps with that craving too. I am so happy I have finally found the ONE!!!! If anyone is looking for a great tasting protein this is the one. I have probably spent 600 dollars on different proteins and now I am happy.
I hope if you are looking that this is it for you too!!!

OH DEB, thanks for asking. The scale is not moving but I just figure I will when God is ready. When I first looked at this protein, I was scared. But it tastes like pudding and has 14 grams of protein. I use a shaker cup and it is delicious. I was really surprised. At vitamin cottage they had single packets as I bought those first to try. I am full after 4 ozs so I wait an hour and do the other 4 ozs then. You may want to try it. It does not have the protein taste at all which is what I love.

My only concern is the amount of vitamins and minerals in it. You'd certainly have to be careful including it in a diet if you're already tasking a couple of multivitamins (as most of us do).
According to them, it has "100% DAILY VALUE of all Vitamins, and most Minerals".

The only reason I even looked was the fact that I had a period of overdosing on some Green Foods Magma Plus Powder Green Foods Magma Plus Powder -- 11 oz - www.Vitacost.com
I started taking the stuff well before WLS as it helped with my IBS. I must have looked at the label way back but then just forgot about it until a recent trip to the eye doc (about my macular degeneration).
He started me on more vitamin A but was specific that I look at everything I ate and drank cause he didn't want me going over a certain level.
Boy! Was I in for a surprise! I was chugging back a couple of these drinks a day plus 2 x multivitamins..... I was getting just over 30,000 IU's of vitamin A and that wasn't including my food! lol

did I do something wrong?
based on the reviews here.. I bought the sample pack of 7 flavors along with the free shaker...
13.99 for the set.
I tried the chocolate today in the shaker.. no matter how long I shook this thing, there were still little beads of un-mixed powder.. so I pulled out my handy dandy portable food blender and blended, blended, blended.. still little beads of powder.. so I took the back of the spoon and smooshed the little beads and then blended again.
It tasted very 'protein-y' to me... but I didn't remember to add splenda.
I'll offer up the blueberry and strawberry to whomever wants them... they are the single packs and I have no desire to try those two flavors at all. I'll give the others a shot, though.. hopefully someone has some advice on how to prevent the little beads of unmixed powder, though.

Now Mike don't tell your wife or my husband. This is actually my affair, haha!!! I am glad you liked the spiru-tein. It does sometimes leave a few lumps, but I can over look that just for the flavor. I really feel like I am cheating and I get in some protein. I have gagged for so long on so many, that this is wonderful to me.
Sorry you are having problems Kel, you might really like the strawberry as it has pieces of real fruit in it. Also try checking the expiration date and make sure yours was not expired. I went to this one store and they were all
expired. I guess no one goes there for it at all. Good luck in your search and I hope whoever else tries it likes it.
