Default Where to buy chewable calcium citrate?

I had a place to buy this bookmarked, but can't locate it now.

I'm 2 1/2 weeks out, and I can't seem to get down my monstrous calcium citrate pill...so a chewable is definitely in order. What brand are you guys buying, and where do you get it?

Thanks.

Right now I'm in the middle of a bottle of Twinlab Ca citrate wafers (chewable), plenty of online sources if you google it. About $8 a bottle of 60 wafers. Dosage is 4 wafers per day though I usually only take 2, but I usually drink milk 2x a day.

I could take them or leave them if a better choice popped up here, but I bought a bottle to try and I guess it could be worse.

Going a little further...I'd like to have a chocolate Calcium chew...

If I eat anymore Viactiv, I think Corrine will shoot me.

I saw that!

But I hear you Mike. The Citracal Creamy Bites were something I actually looked forward to.

However, I have heard on the grapevine that Bariatric Advantage are going to be selling them later this year. I doubt they'll be using the same name and apparently, they'll only be available online. I've written to BA any asked for further information.

In the meantime, I've got an order coming from vitalady tomorrow of the Bariatric Advantage Calcium Lozenges. I really didn't like the chocolate but I've heard that the Cherry isn't too bad. We'll have to see about that one. They aren't cheap though.

Sherry - take a look at Tropical Oasis liquid calcium.

Costco.

Kirkland Signature SUGAR-FREE calcium chews (chocolate)
500 mg. calcium
Vitamin D 50%
Vitamin K 50%

I use 2 per day ... it's like having chewy chocolate candy in the morning AND the afternoon!

150 chews for only 10 bucks

Hi,

I use Viactiv Calcium chews. I love the carmel. Kinda feels like having candy, but not. They come 60 per box and my pharmacy tells me it is alittle more expensive than the tables but what the heck I am worth it. Besides I take a multi centrum chewable, a b-complex, an iron supplement, and a urso forte ( which is to prevent gallstones) Yeiks more pills than I have taken in my life. So good luck choose what you like.

Er!.... they're not calcium citrate Julie:

Effie - the Viactive's are carbonate too. Gastric bypass folk need citrate. We don't have stomach acid in our pouch and carbonate needs that to to break it down so that it can be absorbed. Calcium citrate doesn't need the stomach acid.

Sherry, you can get chewables at Building Blocks - Essential Bariatric Supplements They even have chocolate, though they aren't the nice chewy kinds that Citrical used to make.

Thumbs up Bariatric Advantage for chewable vitamins

http://www.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog?cat=Calcium%20Citrate&so=

Bariatric Advantage has vitamins designed for the needs of people who have had gastric bypass surgery.

Barisaver.com is also another place to buy vitamins:
http://bsciresourcecenter.com/categories.php?cat=89

Vitalady.com I would recommend also:
http://www.vitalady.com/vitamins.htm
