Default Does Special K Iced Tea have caffeine in it?

Just wondering....

I have a box of the Special K Iced Tea protein water packets. Does anyone know if it has caffeine in it?

I'm having a super hard time getting fluids in right now, and I thought I'd give this a try...but I'll skip it if it has caffeine.

Thanks!

Hmmm, only 0.3 mcg? That's not bad...in fact just a trace amount. I always dilute 1 packet with 32 ounces of water and ice, so it's quite watered down.

According to this site, How Much Caffeine in Drinks -- Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks -- Caffeine Content 8 ounces of 'regular' iced tea has 47 milligrams.

edit: After some googling, I found out that 1000 micrograms equal 1 milligram. So truly, the Special K iced tea has a trace amount of caffeine...you could actually drink over 140 servings of it, and it still wouldn't be as much caffeine as 8 ounces of 'regular' iced tea.

Just an update for all of you. I had emailed Kellogg before I posted this question. Here is the answer I received today:

Thank you for contacting us regarding Kellogg's™ Special K2O™ Protein Water Mix Iced Tea.

There are 4 milligrams of caffeine in 1 pouch of this product. This is equivalent to 8 oz of decaffeinated tea or coffee.
For comparison, there are 47 milligrams of caffeine in 8 oz. of regular brewed black tea.

We appreciate your interest in our company and products.

Sincerely,

Pablo A. Martinez
