Accountability
Okay the truth is that I sat here alone in my big empty house last night eating jelly bellies, hard and stale I might add, telling myself, well I wouldn't be doing this if I was on the good foot board. What does that say? It says without having accountability, I just consumed without hesitation.
I didn't really eat all that much, I started at 7pm, I made a can of chili beans with added water and about 2 or 3 ounces of cheese. I ate it all night, and in between, I had about 10 ritz crackers, and probably 30 or more jelly bellies. I wanted chocolate, thank God there isn't any here. Only this hard candy from Easter. I am taking it to work tonight so the other people can have it. If I had bought it (uh, no, I think I didn't on purpose) I would throw it in the trash, but it was bought by my daughter for "the family".
Anyway, I am much more self conscience and aware of my consumption when I know I will be putting it in writing.
I got my blue binder out to give some things to Meaghan, and I saw my journal. I kept a daily journal, every queasy day. I had a form, and boxes for every med, water, protein, carb, exercise, it was a good thing to do, and I lost track of it after I went to work and became a human being again.
I like knowing I have to come in here and tell you I had too many frappuccinos.
Maybe we can get Phil's form on a forum, or something, I am yahoo spades, backgammon and thinnertimes only, I know nothing about computers.

Chicken i feel ya
Yesterday I had to go do some errands and at one particular bank where I needed to do a transaction THEY PISSED ME OFF! this bank is garbage and full of BS, anywho.. what do I do? Im so ticked off at the endless running around I had to do, being told one thing at one place and a different thing at another... I drove myself to JACK IN THE BOX! WTF?! 2 tacos, onion rings and a coke. It took me 2 hours to eat, but you can believe I ate it, and the thing that pisses me off is is why I choose these things to make me feel better? Fried food? What is with that?
So last night, I got back on the good foot knwoing i could recover... its definitely like alcholism.. the binging on those foods when stressed. Ugh! Your not alone sugar pea... yummm Jelly Belly's my fav is buttered popcorn and root beer!

Well I am sure you were hungry, and the tacos are two for 99 cents, can't beat that, but the onion rings and coke, well, those you could have done without, but don't beat yourself up over it. We have each other to keep ourselves motivated and on the good foot.
I hope it never ends.

Hey, I cooked up some coconut rice pudding with raisins. MMMMmmmm! Even substituting Splenda, it's a sinful treat...
Then there's the 3 baskets of fresh picked, red, juicy, sweet strawberries I picked at the fields in Carlsbad. All gone in one day.
Sugar cravings hitting hard.
It's a bit different now. Many people don't know I've had the surgery at the places I go for work. There's always some sort of marketing gathering I'm to attend with food, mostly cakes and cookies. Of course, everyone says, Oh have a cookie and laughingly say, you need one. Reverse of the fat days when people offered carrot sticks instead

I'm In!
I need to be more accountable for what I am putting in my mouth. I think it will be easier with Bill having just had the surgery, however, I need to be accountable not just to ME, but knowing that I have to post it here to all of my FRIENDS, will make it harder and easier...if that makes sense.
Can we start up again?
Traci~ You realized what you did wasn't the best choice. Hey! It happens.
Bridget~ It took you two hours to eat everything. Sure, it wasn't the best choice, but it was the best choice you could think of at the time of your anger.
Who are we to judge? Heck! Everyone slips up once in a while...everyone! I am guilty of it more than once in a while. My biggest thing right now is that I have to get my a$$ in gear and start doing my exercises again. The gym at work has been closed for a good 2 months and I haven't done my Tae Bo like I should. My daughter Shannon, (10), begs me to do it, so that she can do it with me! Why can't I do it for her and show her that exercising is fun? Start her on the right foot. Know what I mean?
So, if you guys are willing to start the accountability thread, I am totally in!

Oh boy I am gonna hate this.
I was bad, I didn't eat anything all day until I was on my way to work, I got worried that I was already running late, so I grabbed a what else? Sigh, a bottle of mocha frappuccino, and a ding dong, ding dong? LOL, I haven't had one in so long, man I could eat those by the box. Anyway it tasted like just plain ole sugar to me, but yeah you guessed, I just kept biting til it was gone. It came in a pack of two so I ended up giving the other away. I wanted to make sure I had something before going to work, and at that point it didn't matter what it was.
Woo hoo, I worked Post Partum last night, so yeah, new dads, man! I was alone so only had four moms and four babies, and three of the moms wanted their babies all night, so I got have some free time, and started early. I had a krispee kreme donut, and I ate the whole thing. Since surgery, the few donuts I have had were bites only.
Next thing you know here comes a new dad with not just 2 large pizza's, but 5, along with salad, rolls, some sort of tube like thing with white cream in the middle, (didn't even taste it) Not to mention all the stuff from the day shift, (I think we had a VIP) if I could spell celebrety I would call her that. LOL. Over 12 long and boring hours I had 2 pieces of pizza and the topping off a third. 2 bites of the good stuff (salad) 2 oatmeal cookies, 4 ritz crackers with a slice of american cheese. 1 ounce of shelled sunflower seeds. I was too late to go to coffee bean last night, and the cafe cart in front of the hospital is never dependable anymore. I think the dude is on drugs. I never had to go to the bean before work before.
I did take my prenatal vitamin and I drank at least 20 ounces of water and 20 of other stuff. Coffee and tea.
