Jacki,
I can only find the SF Vanilla in the 'variety' packages which have Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry. I *hate* strawberry so I miss out on the Vanilla ones

Duckie,
The only places I've found it are TJ's, Whole Foods & Market Basket.. yesterday, both WF & MB were sold out of the 2%.. and I don't have a TJ near me, so I'm sort of SOL at the moment

There is a TJ's on Route 9 in Shrewsbury. It's in a strip mall across the street (and over a little bit, lol) from White City Plaza. PetCo is in the same strip mall as TJs.

Yeah, I live south of there, but a co-worker drives right by it to get home from work.. I sometimes give her money to pick up stuff from there for me.. but she can only do it when there is enough room in both her fridge and the one at work..

My daughter has been invited to a wedding (next WEEKEND.. ugh- too little time).. so we'll be out dress shopping today.. I might bring her up to route 9, so I can go to Trader Joes, too. I just won't tell her beforehand of my (evil) plan.

Hi Jacki....just saw this thread.

So here is the high protein smoothie I just LOVE!...and yes, Jacki, I use the sf vanilla in the envelopes. Surprised you had trouble finding it. It's all over the place here.

1 7oz contianer 2% Fage (17g protein)
1 c ff milk (8g protein)
1 envelope sf vanilla carnation instant breakfast (5g protein)
1 on-the-go orange crystal light
Splenda to taste
1-2 tsp vanilla extract

This is really thick and delicious! It will take early postop people awhile to drink it but will give you 30 grams of protein. You can always throw in another envelope of the carnation too and then it will give you 35 grams of protein.

Hey Duckie! I found the FAGE 2% at Stop & Shop today! Woo... I bought all nine they had on the shelf, LOL..

My DD thought I was nuts when I got so excited over yogurt.. until I found fage, I wouldn't touch the stuff. We had the lady next to us laughing her *ss off at us.. we're like two peas in a pod.. (If I can convince her, I might consider getting a pic of the two of us up, LOL..)

Default I Love Fage!

We're in a small town, but luckily, we have a small health food grocery and they carry Fage. If you have a Whole Foods Market, they will certainly have it. It's greek yogurt which means it is denser...it has been strained and so the proteins etc are condensed. Except for Dannon Prune Activa (really, it's good), this is just the best. Good enough to eat plain.

All right, Fageheads, you've convinced me - I couldn't keep reading the endless Fageposts without trying it for myself. I went to Trader Joe's and bought both the Fage 0% and the TJ's house brand (which is comparable nutritionally but MUCH cheaper). I'll be trying it in a shake tomorrow morning, and will hopefully join the Fagebrigade with the rest of you...
