Smile website to determin calories, protein etc

Is there a website that if you plug in a recipe it will figure the calories, carbs, protein etc? I thought on the recipe threads folks were using fitday but I don't see the link.

THere is a couple rachel ray recipes I want to see how "healthy" they are.

Thanks

Angela

I use the paid version of Fitday which allows you to add custom foods, including recipes. I don't remember if fitday.com allows that or not it's been so long since I used it. I just found the website unwieldy and annoying. I really much prefer the paid version, along with it being about 100 times easier to use, I love the reports I can generate

Little tip, I've read that if you want the paid version, it is 10 dollars cheaper (20 bucks instead of 30) for current Fitday.com users.

That said, I stumbled on something called "Diet Power" and admit I found it interesting, noting that they are wrong in some of their critisims of Fitday (like they say you can't add recipes in, which I know for a fact you can and I do, often) so I wonder what else is incorrect about their comparison chart.

What I don't like about fitday is that they don't allow you to track trans fat nor sugar/sugar alcohols, all of which I would like to track.

I'm a fitday.com fan - I use it every day without fail. But you're right, the free version doesn't have a recipe calculator.

When you're up to cooking from scratch, this recipe calculator is invaluable. Just plug your recipe in and it works out all the stats for you. Recipe Calculator

Calorie-Count.com is a great site for finding out nutritional information of various brands Calorie Counter Database - Free Online Diet Program

And for those looking for recipes, Spark People is outstanding: SparkRecipes

Thanks for the links.

Are you a paid member of fitday? If so, how would you compare their recipe calculator to the one you posted above (at Spark People)? Thanks!

I've been happy with Spark People both for the recipe calculator and the recipes from others.

I use fitday.com every day to keep a track of my protein/carb/fat intake. I love the pie chart!

Here's a site that can be linked to fitday - http://dietfacts.com/ It's a little limited but worth looking at anyway.

CalorieKing - Diet and weight loss. Calorie Counter and more.

I use this all the time and there isn't any fee associated with its use.
