Question Vitamins

Hi,

Had a quick question on vitamins, if anybody knows. The following list is mhat I am taking daily. I'm trying to find out: 1) If all these are ok and I'm not going to OD myself, and 2) Is there an easier way to take these, like, can I throw them in the blender with my protein drink?

AM: Calcium Citrate 250 mg x 2, 3-6-9 (primrose oil & flax seed) x 1, Dry Vit A 10,000 IU x 1, Vit E 400 IU x 1, Vit C 1000 mg x 1 and Grape Seed Extract 50 mg x 1

Noon: Calcium Citrate 250 mg x 2, 3-6-9 x 1

PM: Liquid MultiVit

Of course, along with my Toprol, Ursodial, Ranitidine and Effexor!!

I'm just worried about defiecency (sp?), I KNOW I'm not eating enough yet. Nothing really tastes good to me or feels good. If anyone can help, any advice is appreciated. Thanks

I also take an iron supplement because I was so anemic in the beginning. I take Henry's brand ferrous fumerate. It is easy on my stomach. I take Lutein as an addition to the Dry A. Trying to get my Lutein levels up.

Lutein is for the eyes and I believe it helps to prevent macrodegeneration. My parents had to give it to their dog who was going blind and it actually helped for awhile. Whenever I have my labs drawn, my lutein is so low, it barely registers..

My bottle of lutein says that it is a lesser known carotenoid and is found in higher concentrations than beta carotene in brocoli, spinach, brussel sprouts, cabbage, green beans, kale, and winter squash. In the human body, lutein is specifically deposited in the macula portion of the eye. Dietary intake of lutein dramatically impacts the concentration found in the macula.

I take 6mg. of it a day and it also comes in a 20 mg. version. I use the Solaray brand from Henry's.

Default Thanks

This sounds like something I should try. I already take a lot of vitamins with all the deficiencies my blood has due to this surgery (1987 and leaking). I'm having it redone. I have colon problems and the doctor told me I should eat lots of brocoli. Unfortunately I don't like it. I am trying different recipes to mask the taste but nothing seems to work.
I must have strong taste buds.
