Default Delicious Protein Wafer Cookie!

I thought I would share this product with all of you. I've been eating these and wow are they good!! They are wafer cookies. They remind me of those sugar wafer cookies I ate as a kid. I loved dividing up the layers. Well anyway these are a lot like those but much bigger, healthier and packed with protein!

The nutritional stats aren't too bad either.

Calories: 200
Fats: 5g
Sugars: 6g
Carbs: 13g
Protein: 15g

I can buy them from my surgeon's office but there are a couple places on-line that you can get them.

Here are the links:
Product Details
Bari-15 Wafer Snacks

They are kind of pricey but the Building Blocks Vitamins site says they have 7 wafers for $15 and the Smartforme site says they sell it as 5 wafers for $14.99. If you are looking for good Bariatric Vitamins I would recommend the Building Block ones. I use their chewable multivitamin and I'm happy with it. If you buy $100 worth of products from there, shipping will be free.

In regards to some of the other protein products on those sites? Well I routinely use the products on the Smartforme site. I absolutly love several of the protein bars, the chocolate crunchies and the savory crunchy snacks totally cure my need for crunch foods. I also recommend the fruit drinks.

If you want to buy from the Smart Forme site you need a practictioners code. Feel free to use mine, it is LVPMI.

Just thought I would share my delicious and high protein finds.

Oh, btw...all products are 15 grams of protein per serving.

MiLadyB, by any chance have you tried the Bari-15 Savory Crunchies, they have a lime-chili one that sounds good. I'm not much of a sweets kinda person, but I love salty stuff.

Hi Blay, yes I have tried them and really like them. I haven't tried the lime/chili ones but I currently have the sour cream & onion and BBQ. They kind of remind me of potato chips except they are round little balls. I highly recommend these for anyone who craves that salty potato chip flavor.

The other thing I liked actually pre-op were the soy nuts. I haven't tried them for awhile though. Postop they seemed to make my pouch hurt so I just have stayed away from them but someone else might do fine with them.

My 2 week preop diet consisted of using the Smart Forme products plus my 2 week postop consisted of the liquid Smart Forme products. So I have tried most of what they have to offer. I think the only thing I haven't tried is the Jello.

I'm lucky because my surgeon's office sells these products at cost so even though they are still kind of expensive they are much cheaper than I would pay buying them on-line. For example I pay only $8 for the soy crunchies. But all they offer are the BBQ and the Sour Cream & Onion ones. If you really would like to try a box I'm willing to pick one up for you and ship it to you for the cost of purchase and my shipping cost. PM me and let me know.

Thanks for the info! I'm definitely a sweets girl and this makes me happy to know there are some products like this out there as I progress with my diet.
