Default Chick-fil-A post op question

I LOVE the diet lemonaid at Chick-fil-A? I know my taste might change after surgery but has anyone been able to drink it after surgery. I think it's the one thing I might genuinely miss consuming. I use to travel for work and I always looked forward to picking up my diet lemonaid at the airmall.

Nope, not me. Too sweet now and I dump on it. You might be able to tolerate it after surgery. You never know what the pouch will allow you to have and that can change from day to day...sometimes hour to hour!

Most people don't dump on Splenda, but post op you can dump on anything. It's hard to tell what you personally will or won't dump on. IMO, being able to dump is a good thing because I think it keeps you honest when you might otherwise test your boundaries. Good luck.

It may seem strange, but the things you love most now may not have any appeal to you later, and as a matter of fact may, as Teri said, make you sick.

Splenda is our friend (in general). When you are post-op and ready to try the lemonade, go to your local mall, and get one to go. Bring it home, and test it out there. You DO NOT want to be traveling while dumping....

Also, keep in mind that many things can be labeled as "diet", but still have a high sugar or high sugar alcohol (sa's are the devil!) content, so just be really careful. For the first year, if it didn't have a label for me to read, I didn't eat it....

I sure miss Chick Fillet....sadly I was not going there for the "DIET" Lemonade..lol

Don't rule anything out but any juice period irritates my pouch. No citric acid stuff for me

The diet lemonade at Chick-Fil-A actually has some sugar in it...that's why it tastes so darned good, lol. So, that's probably why people are having problems with dumping on it. Here's the nutritional info on it. A large has 6 grams of sugar!!!
