Ditto on this. On past diets I've been on, cucumbers have been considered a 'free' food, whereas pickles have not due to the sodium content.
When I was a little kid, I used to LOVE dill pickle juice. When the jar of pickles was empty, me and my dad would split the pickle juice. We'd drink it from a glass, just like orange juice. Ick! I can't believe I did that.
