Question Need advice

I am a little over 6 months post up, and have had very good success with the weight loss so far. Right now I have lost 97 pounds, but I CANNOT seem to lose the last 3 pounds to get to a loss of 100 (I have lots more weight to lose, I just like setting one goal at a time) Does anyone have advice on how to "re-vamp" your system to get it back to loosing mode? I have not been snacking on high calorie foods, and I am excersing 3-4 times a week. The scale is just not moving, and wondered if anyone had any advice on how to tell my body to get back to loosing!

Any help is welcome. Thank you!

From what others on this board have said...it's a good idea to bump up your calorie intake with good protein/carbs. Sometimes your body needs a little more especially if you're working out hard.

I know others will post and give you more indepth information.

Continue with the awesome weight loss...and those pounds will be history soon!

I always check what I'm eating, if I added anything new...I omit it, change the protiens I'm eating...add more usually and keep doing the same things till I see the darn scale move. It gets frustrating but I think the longest stall for me has been 3 wks and then it speeds up only to slow down again. Good luck! It will happen if you work your tool!

Thanks Cathy and Andie.....it gets hard sometimes to stay positve, when you are really working at something and you cannot see the pay off. Not that I am compalining about the 97 pound weight loss- - I just know I have such a long way to go, and I'm impatient! LOL

Thanks for the advice, hope you both have a great weekend.

Michelle

Default Everyone is different~

Michelle,

I too lost around 100lbs by the 5 month mark, I stopped for about three months , then lost another 40 lbs WITHOUT doing anything different.I have not lost or gained any weight since the last lb lost.I have maintained for over two years current weight. Please don't worry about the stall, your body is adjusting. Those three will come and many more.

Have a great weekend,

I will add that I agree with the advice given~ When I up my intake, I begin to lose again. The "ride" we are all on never ends
