I use to eat a whole large the works pizza, half gallon of ice cream, and 64 oz soda all by myself for lunch in high school and never gained a once. A whole box of cereal for breakfast. 3-4 servings of rice and whatever else my mother made for dinner. That phase can't last forever. But I kept fooling myself and saying, well I only half that much now. How could I gain weight eating less as an adult than as a teenager?

Insanity at Celebrate Recovery means
Doing the same over and over again expecting a different result each time.

My favorite meal was from the health-mecca of the world, Bennigans in Mission Valley. There I would delicately inhale a lovely Monte Cristo sandwich, complete with a very large helping of extra crispy fries. For those of you not familair with the Monte Cristo sandwich, let me describe it for you.

First of all, it's deep fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. I used to refer to powdered sugar as "food of the gods." But I digress...

It is quite large, cut into 4 sections, with tons of cheese, turkey and ham. The cheese, turkey and ham wasn't so bad, but the deep fried with the powdered sugar (made a triple threat when you include the raspberry jelly dip), and I was quite happy!

Then there's always dessert...I dunno even wanna go into that one!

Forgot about the real soda - usually food for 3 refills, maybe 4.

Total calories estimate = 2500
