Thumbs up What did you eat today?

Okay Feb. 14 I decided to LOVE myself today I pre packed all my foods today and calculated how much protein I would be getting. The only thing I didnt record was calories..... I will have to look that back up when I get back home to my food! So here is what I am consuming what are you eating today?

16 oz Protein Shake (The Orange Julius-like one ) 30 gram protein
String Cheese 1 stick 7 gram protein 80 calories
Bacon 3 slices 5 grams of protein
1 cup cottage cheese 28 gram protein
18 pieces pepperoni 12 grams
1/2 cup Spaghetti Sauce no protein, although plenty of calories Im sure

A bagful of Almonds in case I get the munchies and a yogurt, again just in case.
Weighed in this morning and have lost another pound... holy smokes! I hope y'all have a great day, oh and if you have any idea how much calories may be in something, please feel free to let me know, or how much protein in X amount of almonds... Thanks!

Cool Food

I have a protein bar for afternoon snack (around 3 pm), and some stir fried noodels with beef, little corns, broccoli, and red bell pepers for lunch. I don't know how much protein that has but my bar has 15 grams, and 170 calories. I useually only eat half of it, so I will have the other half tomorrow.
I also can't wait for the sushi. I like tuna.................yummy!!!

That's awesome Bridget. I do this also. I pre-pack my food the night before or at leat plan it then do it in the morning. I can be on the road for hours/300 miles and if I let myself get to hungry I crave the junk. Of course there are AM/PM's and fast food all over my routes. I take some roasted chicken breast strips with me or steak strips. Always got my water and I'll pre-load some protein shakes. Sweet baby! Loving yourself is a great way to put it.

Oh.. and those bags of tuna are great too.

Anyone see the new bags of salmon? Just like tuna, you can put it in a salad, etc. I bought one bag at the store this weekend, haven't tried it yet. So far today I have had my yogurt, a pack of p/b crackers, and my chicken ceasar salad for lunch.

LOL Kinda.. Becareful. Some people can handle it and other can't. Nothing worse than seeing your WLS buddy sick as hell while you are enjoying your's. True story. Just go slow and wait a while after surgery. I mean like 6 months or so.

Thumbs up What did I eat??

Well for breakfast I ate 3 pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon and a large coke.

For lunch I had a quarter pounder with cheese, supersized fries and a large Mr. Pibb.

Oh you mean today?? That is what I would have eaten in the past, but today was a bit different.. LOL

Today I had for breakfast a sugarfree pudding 60 calories and some sort of protein. Wish they had them in the refrigerated section when I was early post-op!!!

For lunch I had two chips with cheese and carne asada on them. (Left overs from last night.) - Chili's Fajita Nachos are to die for!! - They are not on the "regular menu" but you can ask for them and they'll make them for ya.. $7.99 serves 2 GBP Patients for dinner and gives you leftovers!!

I am now sipping on my iced tea with splenda!! (It's been an hour and a half or more since I ate.)

Dinner.. probably won't do that since I have to go to school tonight.. so I may have a couple pieces of beef jerkey.. and that's it for me!!
