Cool I baked today......

I guess it was that "need" to do something since I was wandering around feeling, uhm, I dunno how I was feeling, sad for my sister in law maybe...?
Trying to do something nice for somebody else? I dunno..... SO, I baked some chocolate chip cookies for my sweetie pie.... They smelled really good, but, my favorite cookie used to be oatmeal with walnuts and raisins, so, these meant nothing, you'd be proud of me, I'm sitting here munching on sugar snap peas!!! Christina got me hooked on them! Thank you my friend!

Default Comfort Feelings

Sandi,

Again I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of your sister in law. I can totally understand the old "comfort feelings" of wanting to bake or do something with food. I am so proud of you for eating those snap peas instead!! Glad you're hooked!! They are so good aren't they?

I know you couldn't tollerate and wouldn't try and tollerate the cookies though. It is a total comfort thing.. don't you even fret girlfriend.. sometimes it is nice to do something great for your sweetie.. John will enjoy the cookies..

Love and hugs to you girlfriend..

I knew you'd read that, and want some!!!
I thought about you when they started wafting to the livingroom! I wish I could send the aroma through the monitor for you! I even thought of calling my sister and asking her if there was a recipe for sugar free chocolate chip cookies that didn't taste or "feel" gross!!! You KNOW what I'm talking about, right?

Hugs back to YOU, MY groovy podmate!!

Sandi,

There are sugar free cookies you can bake.. and they are YUMMY!!! Beware they still have 90 calories a piece.. but they are yummy.. you can find them in the refrigerated section.. Pilsbury Break and bake now have sugar free cookies.. the good thing is you can bake just one or two or can bake the whole dozen. They aren't cheap but they can limit the amount you make at a time.. so you don't get those temptations.. LOL

Just a thought.. Stu and I had some and they were good!!! Couldn't tell they were sugar free..

Talking nawwww....

Thank you though!! If they had oatmeal with walnuts and raisins, THEN I'd be in trouble!!! LOL But chocolate chip cookies have never done a thing for me.... there might be others that would have a problem with those cookies though!! *cough cough*

Yeppers, that is my weakness, chocolate chip cookies. I tried the sugar free choc. chip cookies in the refrigerated section and I thought they were gross. Sorry, that is just my opinion and I am kinda glad they are gross to me otherwise I would want to eat more than one. I am able to eat 1/2 of a regular choc. chip cookie and once in awhile that is ok with me.
