Default sugar free vanilla latte...mmmm

Okay Starbuck's fans, I need some help! A Starbuck's drive thru opened up right around the corner from me!! Yipppeee! I was never really into Starbuck's before....But now, sometimes I feel like the only thing that sounds good to my pouch in the morning is a sugar free vanilla latte. This has become my new "special" treat a few times a week.

Question is this (and I looked on Starbucks.com but couldn't find the answer): How many calories and protein in a Grande Sugar Free Vanilla Latte using whole milk and one using nonfat milk?

Check out the Starbucks page at:

http://www.starbucks.com/retail/nutr...FAULT&x=25&y=7

Grande w/whole milk - 160calories, 11 grams of sugar - using low fat milk, 100calories, 11 grams of sugar...try the link out!

It lists all the drinks....my fav...Iced Venti, 1/2 sweet, SF Vanilla Latte. Remember that the sugar that is listed is from the milk, so if you can tolerate milk, then you might be ok.

One point......I can't have my drink with the non-fat milk, makes me dump...I need the fat from the milk to make it all go down ok....strange, but its the truth!

They also offer a SF Cinnamon Dulce and a SF Hazlenut that's not too bad. I just tried the Unsweetened Black tea today and added a 1/2 packet of Splenda, and I think I'm really liking in. I'm a little tired of coffee and the cost on the coffe is $4 versus the tea at $2. Just a nice change, and with the warm weather a cold tea is nice and refreshing.

Default thanks!

Thanks, Lisa & Jen,

I had looked on their website but didn't see it for the sugar free version. Duh, all I had to do was look up the standard latte since the sugar free syrup doesn't have sugar or calories. Thanks!

If you just get the coffee with non fat milk and a pump of your choice it is only $1.85. Drop the word "latte" and you save two bucks. Tastes the same. You can get it iced too. Very yummy

Also good and cheaper, $1.90 for tall, is the "Caffè Misto" which is coffee with steamed milk. It generally isn't on the menu board. One also saves calories as there is less milk in it than in a latte.

I ask for it extra foamy with splenda.

Ok, I confess...today in the city, I went to Starbucks 2 times and each time I had a QUAD (4 expresso shots) Iced Venti 1/2 sweet sugar free vanilla latte. Oh, with REGULAR milk....

I am now sitting up typing away because after 8 shots of expresso today, who can sleep. Not to mention the 48oz. cup of coffee from 7-11 I drank on the way to the city. (Yes I drank water too, how did I fit it all in?)

Daughter won a bronze medal today in figure skating. Have to be up in 5 hours to drive to the city again for a full day of competition...yes I am going to starbucks........a girl has to have a little fun every now and then!

Default starbucks Frapp's

Heyyyy I havent been on Thinner Times this year and need to get back to my basics. I couldnt sleep so ..here I am! I just read this Post and oh so glad I did! I have never been much of a coffee drinker - well only with the foo foo stuff - the fancy flavor'd creamers. Well that all stopped before GBP surg back in JUN 06. Anyways, I have been ..I swear, ADDICTED is the word - to the Coffee Light Frappachino's. I get one everyday it seems... I cant go a day without one. I crave them. I even go after my water aerobics workout - I have my girlfriend on them too! Anyhow, I liked the idea about the Iced Coffee Nonfat Milk with SF Syrup. So tomorrow Guess what - Iwill try that. I miss these boards and information! I am Backkkkkkkkkkk...
Anyhow - thanks for the advice - I will tell you tomrrow if it was a good replacement? PS I cant do milk at all either!
