Arrow know protein bars to snack on/meal replace

I want to know if there are any protein bars that you once used or that you recommend as a good meal replacement or snack. I used to be addicted to NEXT NUTRITION DETOUR BARS during the pre-op days , however In reading the labels...they have way too much sugar 17g per bar....so I am not going to try them.

What's good out there that you have used?

thanks.

They have a low sugar/lower carb detour bar. I get the regular ones but the smaller ones that have 15 gms of protein, 180 calories.

oh thanks for the info. i actually ordered some atkins bars. i am thinking of giving the Nashau stuff a try though.

Do you usually use these as meal replacers or as a snack?.....just wondering since they all seem to have over 100calories.

I try different ones when I can - so far my favorite are Kashi bars and Slim Down Bars - chocolate cranberry.

I am not a real fan of chocolate, but the Slim Down bars are great to replace a meal, the Kashi ones are something I eat at breakfast or when I need a little something.

Im an Atkin's fan. Anytine Im looking for protien supplements or meal replacements, I always go for Atkins. Im not into the candy tasting stuff, I like the Apple Crisp they have and raisin bars.
