Try adding cheese and dry milk to drinks and foods.

I have lots and lots of chicken but I know that doesn't sit well with some peoples pouchies. I also eat a lot of beans of all varieties. Chilli is another lifesaver. I can't have protein drinks - they make me totally ill so you've just to go fit in as much protein as you can whenever you can. Also worth drying the protein bars - the peanut butter one is my favourite!

Default string cheese

Low-fat dairy of all kinds. Dairy is where I get most of my protein - cottage cheese for breakfast and string cheese for lunch, both low-fat. I'm horribly lactose intolerant in terms of milk or yogurt, but I know a lot of people use them as protein sources. For some reason, cheese doesn't bother me, although I do chew sugar-free Fiber Choice tablets at least once a day to keep things moving...

How about shrimp? They are very high in protein and can be cooked a variety of ways. Lean ham also has quite a few grams of protein. I have 3 slices of ham w/1oz of lf cream cheese. That combo has 14g of protein and only 2 carbs. I know you said you are over meat, but here's a recipe for chicken that is yummy that might help you. 3oz of finely chopped chicken, 1/4 cup of DaVinci Roasted Garlic and Onion spaghetti sauce, 1/2 tbsp of parmesan cheese all mixed together. It has 22g of protein and 7 carbs. Like you, I am somewhat carb-phobic. I try to keep my carb count to under 25g a day.

Sidenote: I'm going to be sending about 5 of your vials to LoriAnn on Monday if she still wants them. I'm getting so much protein from food (chicken, lots of chicken) that I'm not using them anymore. But they did help so much when I wasn't getting in my protein. Good luck with your protein!

The protein vials are great. I just bought me a box yesterday.

I would also suggest the south beach diet chicken wraps... MMmm so good. I think they have 28 grams of protein. They have a small wheat pizza that has 30 grams of protein in it. You get full quick but it is great to get that much in from a meal. You might have to add some extra cheese but it is good.

Yep, I was going to suggest cheese and milk products. Beans are great, but if you're worried about carbs, don't go there... so try some edamame. Very easy to prepare and are a munchy type food - good source of soy protein and with some coarse sea salts, delish!

Also, like Denise, I love the South Beach lunch wraps - they are the only boxed type quick foods that I tolerate and enjoy and the three varieties that I eat are all high in protein and very fulfilling - sesame chicken is my fave. Good luck finding something new - I will be burnt out on the wraps soon enough (happened with refried beans, eggs, edamame), so I will be going for something else too.
