Beth, that list is AWESOME. I will be printing it out for myself to have at the grocery...

You can find edamame (soy beans in a shell) at Whole Foods, Walmart, Savacenter (do y'all have those?) or any finer grocery store. Walmart and Whole Foods are where I get mine - about 1.50 for a bag, and just good to snack on.

Beth, that list is awesome.

My favorite protein: cocoa with skim milk powder, Chili, cheese, salmon, shrimp, crab, Spa Lean Cuisine.

I would not worry too much about the carbs in beans...they are good for you and a good sourse of protein - add a little brown rice and it make a complete protein - even better. Really you are not eating that much food so I would focus on the protein levels before anything else.

Yeah, I agree, Lisa. I love beans, and when I tired of refried, I tried all others... had white beans/rice/sausage today for lunch.

WHY CAN'T A LOAF OF FRENCH BREAD BE 100% PROTEIN!!!
I find edamame in the freezer section of my local grocery store. I've found it by the frozen vegetables and by the asian foods like tofu, mushrooms, etc. Edamame is basicly soy beans. Usually you find them still in their pod. Occasionally you can find them frozen out of the pod. I eat them as a snack! You boil them in the pod for a few minutes or steam them, pop them out of the pod and put whatever seasonings you like on them. Eat them warm or cold. They are delicious and have kind of a nutty flavor to them.

Looking at your stats, I would say you are loosing very well...not a slow looser at all. Remember, even if it seems slow, you have never lost this much in this short of time in you life. Its all about learning how to eat and learning balance around this time...its a life long thing, not a quick fix.

Take Care

Default Slim Fast - Low Carb

I have not enjoyed protein drinks at all until I tried Slim Fast Low Carb drinks. I buy them at target and they are wonderful for a substitute breakfast, or if I am traveling and can't schedule my meals around meetings. They MUST be chilled, though.

Don't get them confused with Slim Fast High Protein drinks which are also high in carbs...
