Everything I've tried, from no sugar added to low sugar has made me sick. Better to just stay away from it. It's not worth that kind of trouble.

i can have a little of the nonfat, no sugar added (splenda product) frozen yogurt from yogen fruz - i get cherries added to it, a small amount can be okay for me, but i did get sick the last time i ate it, musta been too much, havent tried it again since though
i also have had the no sugar added cream sicles and fudgesicles, they were okay with me, but have not tried other ice cream, too scared - i am a dumper, i can dump on almost anything so i am careful, as i am known to pass out - too scary.

Life changes
Ice cream was my favorite vice in life pre GBS. Wasn't a kind I didn't like except for mint chocolate chip, Ben and Jerry came for dinner frequently.
Now, OMG, nothing makes me as sick as ice cream. Doesn't matter what its made of--soy, rice, cow--I die of gas and lactose intolerance. It's def aversion therapy, and I miss my nightly treat.
If anyone knows of a product that will make it possible for me to tolerate ice cream, I would be so thrilled, I'd shine your shoes.

I haven't had a problem with dumping or getting sick, only just the heavy feeling when I eat any kind of pasta or bread so I stay away from it. But when I want a treat I go for the skinny cows chocolate fudgicles. Don't get the icecream or other kinds besides the chocolate because the others are way to high in sugar content. But the chocolate ones I don't have a problem with.

I adored ice cream post op, I would eat it at least 3 or 4 times a week - I've stayed away from it because first and foremost, I don't need it, secondly I have a fear of not having any adverse reaction to it and therefore would be able to eat it.. I've come too far to sabotage myself that way - I stick with the sugar free popsicles

I'm with Lydia, the closest I've gotten was the no sugar added fudgicles. I've just heard the horror stories about other eating ice cream.
