Default I need more calories

The doc said I'm loosing too fast and wants me to take in more calories.

What can I eat that is high in calories and protein content but won't make me dump?

I hate to say it, but protein shakes are probably your best bet. There are a lot out there. As an alternative, often times, I try to eat more often during the day when I am trying to put weight back on (like now) but I agree that it's definitely not the easiest thing to do with our little pouches and new mental attitude towards food.

Almonds, if you can do nuts.

A nonfat, sugarfree latte from a Starbucks type place - has some extra calories from milk.

And I agree with the avocado and peanut butter advice.

Default Protein bars too

The shakes are good, but I also started eating pieces of protein bars - I bought mine at "bariatriceating.com" so they are sugar free and low carb but have a pretty high calorie content. Some have nuts and fruit, so I have to be careful, you'll have to see. Check it out. You could also check at GNC.

Good luck!

Nuts are a very good idea.

You also might want to try BioNutritional Research Group - Power Crunch Triple Chocolate bars link

Default Starbucks

I am no longer interested in eating. I can drink until I die! I love drinking not eating. I would say that Starbucks is great because you can get a non fat drink with sugar free syrup. It's a great source of calcium, I have one every day along with V8 juice, and proteing drinks.

i think the answer to moderating weight loss may be in carb intake. if you really need to slow weight loss eat more mashed potatoes, corn, etc. if you can tolerate it. i never really bout in to the losing too fast idea though. as long as your healthy lose it while you can. i still stick to a very low carb diet, but eat plenty of nuts, protein bars and protein pudding and it is hard for me to stop losing weight. only when i eat more carbs do i level off or gain anything. good luck!
