Thank you so much Jim, because as much as I am looking forward to the new me, I am equally as scared and worried that I will regret this. The last few days have been especially ruff for me. I have just been taking it one day at a time. Coming here has really helped me a lot, everyone here is so wonderfull.

I had over a year to prepare (mentally) for surgery, and I remember contemplating what I had gotten myself into as I was being gurnied to the OR.

And it is also perfectly normal to go through a period of regret post-op. But as you start to feel better, you'll gain a new outlook and it will all be worth it. Check out this thread Downside to RNY
