I had to insist they not give me the fries that come with it, because I did not want to tempt myself.

So I think this was a good Choice for eatting out, If there is a buffalo wild wings near you they are the one who do this. I was able to hold them down very well and they where VERY YUMMY!

I am trying to narrow down when this seems to happen, and I have noticed after I eat is when this happens MOST. I will also add it does radiate to my right side as well. Also sometimes when I yawn or cough it hurts.
Can anyone give me insight into what this is please? I just don't know, and I am not one to go to the doctor everytime I get an ache and pain.

Everything has been almost too perfect. I've taken only a few Tylenol since I got home. I have put up and decorated about 14 Christmas trees, cleaned house, baked cookies (guests this weekend), went to school, walked a lot.

I'm not losing any weight! I called the dietician who said, "it will happen." I have had no problems eating anything, drinking liquids, and I'm not hungry. I'm probably taking in 800 calories a day. I've been treated for thyroid disease since I was 12 so I know my metabolism isn't exactly great.

How should I jump start this process? Do I need to start strenuous exercise now? Is there something I should eat? I'm really starting to feel depressed over this. The weight loss I do show was from the day before the surgery to the release date. I have nothing after that!

Hi,

Surgery exactly 3 weeks ago. All okay, 35+ lbs lost.

Dr. said until I see him again on 12/5 to stick to strained soups & low sugar yogurt only. Fine by me, better to spend a month plus letting my stomach heal than to chance solids. He not a fan of protein drinks but I add 2 a day (low sugar, low fat) which gets me 30 g. He told me target is 600-700 calories a day & 40 g protein.

Problem...I maybe getting 400 calories a day in me. The protein drink sits like a lump in my stomach & even strained soups at 1/3 cup at a time leave my stomach feeling full. I suppose I should be forcing myself to get a few more meals a day to try & get calories up.

I think in December when I go to soft foods a soft boiled egg, moist lean chicken or fish, etc. might allow me to get my calories up.

Until then what are everyone's thoughts on the danger of getting too few calories in me?? I'm not really hungry much, more of a bother to eat.

Not in a million years did I ever think this would be a problem...haha!

I also had diarrhea last night and today.

Between meals I still feel kind of sick but to a lesser degree.

I am not sure if this is part of the healing process, or if its something I should be concerned about.

I have had nothing but issues with the staff at my current doctor. It's so bad that they made me reschedule my appointment till the beginning of February because I didn't have the cash on me to pay for parking. I have had nothing but issues with the staff from telling me my paper work could not be submitted to my ins because I messed up the paper work then getting an approval from my ins two days later, to the forms for my medical leave never being sent over after multi promises to me and my employer that it would be taken care of and me almost losing my job, and now today just tops it off. The office manager told me it was not their problem and hung up on me.

I need to transfer Doctors because I fear now they are going to be nothing but rude to me and if I ever needed anything they wouldn't help. Does anyone know how difficult it is to switch Doctors after have gastric bypass?

Ok I am almost 2 yrs out and 24 wks pregnant. About 75% of the time when I eat starting a week or 2 ago I get horrible cramps. I mean I have to lay on the bathroom floor at work because it hurts so bad. Most of the time I end up throwing up from it. The pain starts out at the top of the stomach and by the time it ends I can almost feel it cramp up all the way down. Last night I ate a hotdog and was doubled over in the worst pain yet. DH was at the store and I could barely walk. After 30 min. I felt like I had to get sick and I went into the bathroom and threw up bright red blood. It wasn't much it was about 2 TBSP. Nothing else came up. It scared the crap out of me. ABout an hour later the pain finally subsided. I am waiting for the doctors office to open up. Should I call my OB who is the closest to me? My GBS surgeon in 2.5 hours away. Also what do you think it could be? I had my gall bladder removed in April and when they were in there they said I had quiet a few adhesions that they cleaned up. I have always had problems keeping food down since the surgery and feeling sick after I eat but never pain like this and now puking up blood!

Just wanted to post that I have FINALLY left Threeopolis and moved to Twoterville! This morning, I landed at 296.8, a total loss so far of 71 pounds.

I say finally because I've kind of stalled out the last few weeks. Many of you who have seen my posts know why. I had gotten bad about being "too busy" to get back to my office and drink my protein shake in the afternoon, and was kind of "experimenting" with food that was causing the majority of the problems I presume. Anyway, this week I've worked on making sure that I got my protein in, and being a ton more mindful of what I'm eating and why I eat it.

What a reward!

I haven't been under 300 pounds in about 7 years or so. I didn't snap a picture or anything because I'm trying to get ready for work.

Going to be a GREAT day!

GIANT GUTBOMB!!

ie makes my stomach hurt like hell.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Eating too much? Not chewing enough? Something else? Just normal for 9 days out?

Should I be trying to listen for the signal to stop eating and stop immediately - even if I don't finish? Cuz there are times that my stomach hurts well before I finished my 4 oz.

Maybe it's the chewing. I'm eating MUCH slower and I think I'm chewing enough but - maybe not.

It just seems like so much of the time I'm going like ow ow ow ow ow ow several times a day. I've upchucked a little bit a couple of times  and did feel better but I don't want to fall into THAT nasty old habit.

Bliss149

p.s. And I'm sure I'll get used to it but dang I hate not having something to drink with my meals!
