Just a quick post to let you see how how my weight loss is progressing.

I met with two great WLS friends who do Stirling work in their community running both WLS Seminars at their local Hospital, and also a very successful support group for pre and post operative WLS patients in the North East of England. Two great WLS people who put back as much as they have been given.

The stunner on my right is Sarah a bypasser who has lost 252lbs in a year, and the simply gorgeous lady on my left is the lovely Liz who as a bander has dropped 119lbs. Both fantastic ladies.

We met for a couple of coffees when I was in their manor as we say here.

So for the special one here who asked to see me in a suit here it is, knock yourself out LOL :D:D

I went from a size 24 to a size 8/9. I STILL can't believe it, even when everyone tells me I look great & even when I see my pictures. I FEEL sexxy, but still sometimes don't see it. Anyways, here are some pictures from yesterday when I was messing around in my room. Don't mind my belly, I have tons of skin from losing so much weight & having 3 kiddos.

However, I'm just now confident enough to share my before pics. It's very sad. But after six years, here they are. It's funny how some very close people in my life do not even know this person. Life is great. I've maintained my weight loss for some time, and have never been healthier and/or happier. Started at 294 pounds now 150 pounds. Yay me!

It has been one year this week since I made the decision that would change my life and health so very dramatically. I started dieting and preparing myself for gastric bypass surgery. It has now been just over 7 months since the big day.

Starting weight was 280, October 2008.
The first pictures are from mid-March. Weight around 265, Size 24ish.
The middle pictures are from early July. Weight around 203, Size 18.
The last pictures are from October 24th. Weight 165, size 10. (I've since lost about 6 more lbs!)

I had Realize Band surgery in July '08 and for me it was nothing but complications and no weight loss so it had to come out. I then had Lap RNY on April 29 of this year and it has been a success. I am down 98 pounds and would love to lose 10 more but doubt that I will, so I would settle for 2 pounds to make it an even 100. My skin is a flabby mess but at this point I am not really worrying about it because next month I will be fit, fabulous and 55. I work out 5-6 days per week and have NEVER felt better or happier in my life. Congratulations to everyone who has had success and best wishes to all of you who are just beginning your journey. Though there is really no good excuse, work got very hectic with several people leaving, and new people to my division, etc. It just got really busy the last 3 weeks or so.

Anyway, 66 pounds in 3 months - I'll take it!

These pics were from my photo shoot (don't like the workout clothes one much... my arm looks fat and I hate that my shirt is pulled down so snug), but it was fun to do.

Studying now for my personal trainer certification and then will start the T-Tapp Trainer in Training... so I can certify to become a T-Tapp Trainer. Exciting stuff, but keeping me extremely busy ~ have to test before 2/3/10, so I'm trying to get focused and study, and work full time and we just got 2 Great Pyrenees puppies to boot!
